2024 Vermeer® Vacuum Excavators JTV873 PTO

The JTV PTO series is one of the most versatile hydrovac truck and jetter machines on the market today.

The jetter truck vac (JTV) 873 series is a PTO truck-driven system available on Ford chassis. This full line of JTV is available with an 800-gal (3,028.3-L) debris tank and 400 gal (1,514 L) of water. The PTO of the truck drives positive displacement vacuum blowers that produce 1,000 cfm (1,699 m3/hr) along with high-pressure jetter capabilities putting this truck in a league of its own.

Features may include:

• The CVS filter housing has a .5 micron filtration that contains the four-way valve for reverse pressure and an oversized silencer for quiet operation. The silencer is located inside the 28-in (71-cm) diameter cyclone.

• Rear hydraulic claw door has an over-center locking mechanism for a no-fuss positive lock and unlock.

• The 15-gpm (57-L/min) at 3,000 psi water pump with 425-ft x .5-in (129.5-m x 12.7-mm) jetter hose comes with an electric self-retracting hose reel.

• With 270-degree rotation, the strong arm supports the weight of the vacuum hose, and the roller head allows for ease of handling by allowing smooth, fluid movements and adjustments.

• The hydraulic boom offers a full six-way function, wireless remote with vacuum valve operation, 330-degree rotation, remote water jet for ease of cleanout and a 5-in (12.7-cm) hose with quick connect to 4-in (10.2-cm) tooling.

• All components are controlled from the truck, eliminating the extra weight, space and cost of the pony motor.
